Volunteering at Behind Closed Doors

Behind Closed Doors

Behind Closed Doors are currently not recruiting any new volunteers. Please visit the volunteering website: www.do-it.org.uk fo rvolunteering opportunities in your area.

BCD values volunteers as co-workers in carrying out the aims of the project and in supporting the women we work with.

Volunteers are involved in all of the activities of the project at all levels, including decision making wherever possible.

We welcome applications from women who feel they have time and the appropriate skills to work with us, and will do our best to provide a placement which meets the needs of the project whilst at the same time suiting the skills and desires of each volunteer.

We do ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of six hours per week, in order for both the volunteer and the organisation to benefit from the volunteering opportunity.
