We operate our Outreach team as part of the Leeds Domestic Violence Service (LDVS) in partnership with Leeds Women's Aid and HALT (Help Advice and Law Team).

Our IDVA support focuses on providing legal advice and advocacy on a range of issues within the civil and criminal justice systems, as well as additional short term support for high risk victims.

Resettlement support can be offered if you are a woman in temporary or emergency accommodation and we can help you to move into independent living and permanent housing. We can start working with you from the point you are offered permanent accommodation. Resettlement workers will support you to settle in to your new communities and successfully live independently.
Our outreach workers at BCD will provide regular practical and emotional support on such issues as housing, benefits and budgeting, safety planning, health and social care and community engagement.
We offer support and information on civil matters and we can accompany you to solicitor's appointments and attend Civil Court Proceedings with you. As part of our support work, we liaise with these and other agencies to ensure the best possible outcome for people needing help with the multiple and complex issues created by domestic abuse. In the large majority of situations, we work only with other agencies with the express consent of the client.
