Thanks to the continued support of the surrounding community, Behind Closed Doors (BCD) is starting 2010 on a very positive note. Following a year of uncertainty about the future of the organisation, BCD have been granted 13 months core funding from Supporting People. This will provide the organisation with a base level of funding in the short term, which will allow time to secure further funds and develop the organisation.  In addition, we have secured funding from Lloyds TSB for 12 months to increase our capacity to meet the demands for the service.

Behind Closed Doors was overwhelmed by the positive response and support received during the funding crisis, which reinforced the need for this vital service. A big thank you to everyone who responded to our plight.
