Sadly, too many young people and children witness domestic abuse and an increasing number are also experiencing domestic abuse in early relationships.  Research (national and in-house) clearly identifies domestic abuse as a social issue prevalent within this generation and frontline practitioners working with children and young people believe early prevention work is essential.  

We talk frankly to young people and children about domestic abuse, presenting them with opportunities to discuss it in a safe, engaging but real way.   We focus on the factors which create healthy relationships, maintaining good self-esteem and self-confidence, recognising warning signs and how to keep themselves safe.
