It is likely that most of us know people within our own social circles and networks who have been, or are, victims of domestic violence and abuse (a.k.a. Relationship Abuse; Intimate Partner Violence).  Many practitioners and volunteers in the statutory, voluntary and commercial sectors also find themselves supporting people with experiences of domestic violence and abuse (current, recent or historic).  Providing this support effectively and sensitively is often difficult because of the complex dynamics, emotions and impact that characterise domestic violence and abuse; appropriate training can provide the necessary knowledge and confidence to achieve this.

BCD offers a range of training options from 1-hour awareness raising sessions to full-day workshops which can be delivered in-house.  Many of our courses are CPD© Certified and where required, these can be tailored to address specific areas of interest.  We are always happy to discuss bespoke training needs.

If you cannot see what you want, don’t hesitate to contact us.  We welcome enquiries and opportunities to work with you to ensure the training meets your needs.

Watch this space for more details about future training courses.  Alternatively, if you wish to receive information about future training offers, please email and ask to be added to our mailing list.
