Providing support to people whose lives have been affected by domestic abuse

We are an early response service that professionals working within the South and East CCG can refer into when they wish to put in place support for a client with low level mental health issues, who also needs specialist intervention around current or previous experiences of domestic violence and abuse.

To qualify for this service, clients need to;

 Be aged 16+ (we work with women and men)

 Live in or access health services in the Leeds South and East CCG

 Present with low level mental health concerns, such as depression or anxiety

 Require support relating to current or previous experiences of domestic violence and abuse

We will offer short-term support providing relevant brief interventions whilst also working with clients to help them access a range of appropriate longer-term support from other relevant services. This work will take place via phone and/or face-to-face. Meetings with clients will take place in safe community-based locations or in the client’s home if it is safe and appropriate to do so.  We can also offer joint visits with other community-based professionals.
